FINANCIAL SYSTEM SPECIALIST – Orange Botswana 1939 views

Key Responsibilities

This role responsible of all the Financial Systems for Orange Botswana.

• The main duties include but are not limited to:
• Manage all financial systems for OBW
• Coordinate improvements, upgrades or any issues with Orange Group entities, IT department and External Companies providing the systems
• Coordinate and drive all finance departments requirements with IT department and Group entities
• Make sure that all financial systems are aligned with Botswana Accounting, Controlling and treasury standards
• Manage implementation of new systems (controlling, treasury)
• Drive AI implementation and use in the Finance Departments
• Define the Financial systems policy, needs and requirements for OBW
• Maintain up to date financial systems for OBW aligned with Botswana and Orange standards and requirements
• Manage upgrade and improvements of the systems
• Manage implementation of new tools for all financial departments
• Coordinate all financial departments requirements with other internal and Group departments
• Introduce and manage AI implementation in Financial Systems and in the Finance Departments and drive increasing usage of employees
• Monthly reporting to CFO on the performance of the organisation on financial systems
• Coordinate with Orange Group any tool upgrade required for OBW

Requirements

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge in Accounting and Finance
• Very good knowledge of Oracle accounting software and other Financial tools
• Capacity to work with other departments and understand their needs
• Attention to fine detail.
• Leadership/people management skills.
• Knowledgeable on various accounting and financial techniques

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Finance IT or Business Management or related field.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in financial and IT roles covering financial systems management.
• Good Knowledge of the Telecommunications environment.
