**RHINO PLANT HIRE** is looking for an experienced **FITTER & TURNER MACHINIST/ HEAVY PLANT MECHANIC.**
Key Responsibilities
- Machining, Modifying & manufacturing various components in house for heavy plant machinery using lathes, milling machines, Grinders. Etc
- Be able to Implement Maintenance systems for machinery/ service schedules.
- Management of site mechanics out of Gaborone.
- Procurement capabilities- sourcing & ordering parts
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Class one skilled worker fitter & turner, including machining
- Certificate in machine shop engineering training
- Certificate in hydraulics & Pneumatics
- Certificate in Supervisory Management
- Certificate in Principals & practice of supervisory management
- Certificate in Production & General Engineering
- Experience in machining bushes & pins to required standard & quality
- Must be experienced in Hydraulics & Pneumatic Systems including fault finding and diagnostics.
- Experience with Hitachi Excavators (20-40ton), JCB, Shantui front end loaders, Hidromek & Komatsu Excavators, Cat Graders, Cat Dozers; including fault finding/ diagnostics & repairs of the above.
- Must have good communication skills
