Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring flight progress from take-off to landing using the IndigoSat tracking system.
• Maintaining accurate logs of flight activities and flight plans.
• Identifying the potential issues like weather problems or airspace restrictions and airstrip conditions and communicating this to our operations team and pilots.
• Keeping stake holders like passengers, airlines and emergency services updated about flight status changes.
• Ensuring all operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring accurate completion of administrative tasks allocated.

Requirements

• Proficiency with flight tracking systems, weather monitoring tools and computer literacy
• A minimum of 2 years experience in one or more of the following: Aviation Operations / flight following, Charter or bush aviation environment, Tourism or safari logistics, Scheduling or dispatch support
• Recognized flight dispatcher / flight follower certificate
• Strong radio/phone communication
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple flights
• Safety focused mindset
• Calm under pressure (weather, delays, medivacs)
• Attention to Detail
