Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the sourcing, handling, grading, and quality assurance of fresh produce
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with farmers and suppliers to ensure consistent product standards
• Manage daily operations including stock forecasting, ordering, and inventory accuracy
• Provide product knowledge and technical support to retail, wholesale, and hospitality customers
• Conduct market research on pricing trends, supply movements, and seasonal availability
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP requirements, and quality management systems

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in a food-related qualification
• Experience within a hospitality or foodservice environment
• Experience in fresh produce and/or procurement will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and industry best practices
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
