Key Responsibilities
- Lead worship services and preach the Word, primarily in Afrikaans, or line with the language needs of the congregation
- Provide pastoral care, counselling and spiritual support to members
- Congregational development and spiritual guidance
- Involvement in community outreach
- Facilitate congregational development and discipleship
- Administer sacraments and all ministerial duties in accordance with the DRCB Church Order
- Work collaboratively with Church Council and the broader Church structures
Requirements
- A recognised theological qualification – BA Theology, BTh Theology or equivalent.
- Ordination as a Minister within the Dutch Reformed Church or a recognised denomination (or eligibility to be recognised within DRCB)
- Demonstrated Strong calling to ministry and commitment to spiritual leadership
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse congregational and community setting.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans as it is required for effective ministering within the congregation
- Knowledge of English and/or Setswana will be an added advantage
Salary
Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
