Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and protect company assets.
- Assist customers promptly and professionally with all inquiries and requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised work area.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of products and their applications.
- Handle stock movement including receiving, shelf-packing, merchandising, and customer service.
- Apply FIFO principles and stock control measures diligently.
- Address damaged goods or unresolved issues within one working day.
- Support customers through the sales process and assist with loading or product testing when applicable.
- Provide quotations upon request and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Observe Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at all times.
- Carry out any legally assigned duties regardless of job title.
Requirements
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Formal training in merchandising and customer service is highly advantageous.
- Fluent in English and Setswana; knowledge of other local languages is a plus.
- Minimum of BGCSE (Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education).
- Customer service training and First Aid certification are advantageous.
