GRAYS EDEN SANCTUARY (Ker & Downey Botswana). General Manager (Grays Eden Sanctuary Boutique Hotel, Maun Based). The General Manager is entrusted with the overall leadership, performance, and positioning of Gray’s Eden Sanctuary Boutique Hotel as a distinctive, high-end hospitality offering. The role carries full responsibility for the seamless operation of the property, encompassing guest experience, team leadership, financial performance, and the ongoing care and presentation of the hotel. This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strong sense of ownership and pride in their environment. Directly reporting to: Ker & Downey Botswana Assistant General Manager

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the hotel’s day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated experience across all departments
Ensure the hotel is consistently presented to the highest standard, maintaining a guest-ready environment at all times
Oversee the smooth and efficient functioning of all departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration between teams
Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies, systems, and procedures to ensure effective governance and consistency
Take responsibility for achieving profitability targets while maintaining service excellence
Conduct regular, structured meetings with Heads of Department to ensure alignment, accountability, and effective communication-
Oversee disciplinary and grievance processes in a fair, consistent, and professional manner
Perform any additional duties as required by management in support of the overall success of the hotel

Requirements

A Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related fields.
At least five (10-15) years of Hotel/Lodge Management experience.
Leadership and adapt team management capabilities
Strategic thinking.
Planning and organizing skills.
