Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Group Finance function.
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Oversee treasury, cash-flow, working capital, taxation, and financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Provide strategic financial and commercial advice to executive management.
- Evaluate capital expenditure, investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor business performance and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and controls.
- Lead, develop, and strengthen the Group Finance team.
- Support the effective utilization and improvement of ERP and financial management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- BICA accredited/member or eligible for membership.
- Minimum of 10 years’ senior-level finance experience, preferably within a Group or multi-entity environment.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, and working capital management.
- Proven knowledge of financial governance, internal controls, risk management, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in leading and developing finance teams.
- Strong, commercial, strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Practical experience with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) will be an added advantage.
