Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct gymnastics training sessions for participants of different ages and skill levels.
- Teach fundamental and advanced gymnastics techniques in accordance with recognized coaching standards.
- Monitor athletes’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all training sessions.
- Prepare gymnasts for competitions, exhibitions, and performances.
- Maintain gymnastics equipment and ensure training areas are safe and well organised.
- Promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participants.
- Assist with gymnastics events, competitions, and community outreach programmes organised by the Academy.
Requirements
- A recognised Gymnastics Coaching qualification or certification.
- Safeguarding Certificate
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience coaching gymnastics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- A passion for youth development through sport.
- Ability to work with children and young people in a positive and encouraging manner.
