HEAD HOUSEKEEPER (CAMP BASED) – Lodges of Botswana 1627 views

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and all lodge facilities
• Ensure linen, towels, and guest amenities are consistently well-stocked, clean, and neatly arranged
• Oversee and perform laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and proper storage of items
• Identify and report maintenance issues or repair needs promptly to the relevant department
• Implement and follow environmentally friendly cleaning practices in line with the lodge’s sustainability goals
• Assist with special lodge arrangements, including bush dining setups and unique guest experiences
• Deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring comfort, satisfaction, and attention to detail at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping within a lodge, hotel, or hospitality environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Professional, friendly demeanor with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
