Directing a new greenfield coal mine and associated functions including box cut development, mine design, and production planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of senior management and advise the appointed manager responsible for the control, management, and direction of the mine.
- Ensure the achievement of company business objectives.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of legislations applicable to a mine (Mines, Quarries, Works and Machinery Regulations).
Requirements
- Degree in Mining Engineering.
- Preferably a Post Graduate qualification in Management.
- 20+ years post qualification experience in the coal mining industry.
