We’re looking for a Head Mining to direct a new greenfield coal mine and associated work functions (box cut development, mine survey, mine design and production planning, drilling and blasting, mine management, contractual agreements and other works) on behalf of the company to ensure the achievement of company business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- The Applicant shall be part of senior management of the Company and advise the manager appointed under r6(1) of Mines, Quarries, Works and Machinery Regulations, CAP 44:02 to be responsible for the control, management and direction of mine.
- The Applicant shall have thorough knowledge of legislations that are applicable in a mine.
Requirements
- Applicant should hold a degree in Mining Engineering, preferably with a Post Graduate qualification in Management and have 20+ years post qualification experience in the coal mining industry.
