JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Commercial to lead revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention within our courier and logistics business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial performance, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial and revenue growth strategies.
- Drive new business acquisition across corporate, SME, and institutional markets.
- Manage key client relationships to improve retention and long-term value.
- Oversee pricing, discounts, and commercial terms to protect profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Use commercial data and reports to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure commercially viable service delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
- 7-10 years’ experience in commercial, sales, or business development leadership.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior management.
- Proven track record in revenue growth and market expansion.
- Experience in courier, logistics, transport, or service-based industries (advantage).
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Commercial strategy and execution.
- Revenue forecasting and pipeline management.
- Pricing and margin optimisation.
- Business development and key account management.
- Customer experience leadership.
- Data-driven decision-making.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
