VACANCY- HEAD OF DEPARTMENT-MIDWIFERY(3-YEAR FIXED CONTRACT)

Salary Scale: D2 (P337, 008.00-P371, 628.00- per Annum)

Qualifications:

To be considered for appointment to this position, candidates must have Master’s Degree in Nursing Science (Midwifery). A teaching qualification is required.

 

Experience:

A minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience, two (2) of which should have been served on D3 salary scale as Senior Lecturer l-Midwifery or equivalent.

 

Main Purpose of the Job

•To plan, implement and evaluate teaching and learning activities in Midwifery in order to deliver quality Health Services.

 

Summary of Duties

•Planning, implementing and evaluation of classroom teaching and clinical activities in Midwifery.
•Directs and Supervises faculty in translating policies and objectives of the institution and other relevant departments.
•Contributes in effective management and administration of the institution.
•Assesses the needs of the Department in terms of manpower, equipment’s and other resources and reports to the Deputy Principal and Principal.
