Our operations are dedicated to the production, development, and distribution of pharmaceuticals that improve the lives of people across Botswana and beyond. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and results-oriented individual to join our leadership team as the Head of Production.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and supervise all production operations, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, fully compliant with regulatory requirements and cGMP standards.

· Prepare and execute production plans to ensure the timely and cost-efficient delivery of products, while monitoring production activities and maintaining accurate documentation.

· Drive continuous improvement in production processes, with a focus on reducing costs, increasing productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

· Actively engaging in Deviations, Change Control, Risk Assessments, and the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

· Work closely with other departments (QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse and HR) to ensure alignment with overall company goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm).

· Applicants are required to hold a current registration certificate and Blue Card issued by the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC).

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Managerial or leadership experience an added advantage.

· Achieved a Certificate of Competency in the Validation and Qualification of Pharmaceutical Equipment and Utilities.

· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to adapt to changing industry trends and technological advancements.
