The Head, People and Culture is a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of strategy, culture, and performance. The role will shape a future-ready workforce and embed a high-performance culture aligned with the organisation’s growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Transformation: Lead the design and execution of the People and Culture transformation strategy aligned to the Group’s strategy.
  • Talent & Leadership: Build leadership pipelines, strengthen talent development, and enhance our employee value proposition.
  • Culture & Performance: Embed a high-performance, values-driven culture supported by effective performance and reward frameworks.
  • Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and proactively manage people-related risks.
  • HR Capability: Strengthen HR operations through digital enablement and data-driven decision-making

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification (Master’s or MBA) is preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience with at least five (5) years in a senior executive or role preferably in a financial services institution or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading people and culture transformation initiatives in a medium to large institution.
  • Strong strategic thinking capability with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable people initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence at Board and Executive Committee level.
  • Deep expertise in organisational development, talent strategy, culture transformation, and change management.
