Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Human Resources Services function across underground and surface mining operations.
- Coordinate manpower planning and workforce forecasting activities.
- Provide guidance and support on disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations, and dispute resolution.
- Drive the implementation of performance management systems and employee development initiatives.
- Support implementation of localization and citizen empowerment initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or Organizational Development will be an added advantage.
- Membership of a recognized Human Resources professional body will be advantageous.
- Previous experience within mining, construction, heavy industry, manufacturing, or large-scale operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing unionized workforces and industrial relations matters.
- Experience in workforce mobilization, localization, expatriate management, and project-based operations will be highly advantageous.
