The HSE Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance and performance of the expansion project at MMG-Khoemacau Copper Mining. This position involves close collaboration with contractors, the management team, and local stakeholders to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment. The HSE Supervisor will oversee training, reporting, data analysis, and communication to drive continuous improvement in HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering HSE training and induction programs for contractor employees to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and updating content as needed.
- Collaborating with contractor HSE teams to align safety practices and ensure adherence to project HSE policies.
- Acting as a liaison between contractors and the management team to address HSE concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Preparing and submitting internal and external HSE reports, including incident reports, compliance audits, and performance metrics.
- Analysing HSE data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement as well as developing and implementing improvement plans to enhance safety performance and reduce incidents.
- Facilitating effective communication between contractors, the local team, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on HSE objectives.
- Participating in HSE audits and inspections and following up on corrective actions, assisting in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE supervision, preferably in mining or construction projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in HSE data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage.
- Chinese and English language ability to work under multi- culture environment
