Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for ICT support, assisting students, faculty, and staff with technical issues and enquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating complex issues to senior ICT staff when necessary.
- Manage and monitor helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of tickets.
- Assist in maintaining the College’s network, systems, and operations.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upkeep of hardware and software components.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning and implementation of projects.
- Assist with inventory management of ICT assets, including tracking and auditing hardware and software.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related program.
- Professional certifications e.g. CCNA, Network+, A+ is desirable.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
