A talented and dynamic candidate is sought by our client in the Telecommunications sector to join their Technical team as an Installer. The successful individual will report to the Planning & Support Manager and will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Drilling and mounting of brackets and equipment
- Radio Installation
- Cabling
- Tower Support and Installation
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- BGCSE or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and installation plans
- Knowledge of fibre splicing, testing tools
- Basic understanding of network security and safe installation practices
Additional Requirements:
- Valid drivers licence (advantageous) and willingness to travel to client sites
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently.
