Job description
 Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits across all
areas of the business.
 Evaluate internal controls, risk management practices,
and compliance with company policies.
 Analyze financial records and operational procedures
to identify inefficiencies, weaknesses, and areas for
improvement.
 Develop audit programs and test procedures based on
business risk assessments.
 Provide recommendations for improving internal
controls, procedures, and operations.
 Collaborate with management to ensure timely and
accurate resolution of audit findings.
 Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting key
findings, recommendations, and management
responses.
 Monitor and track the implementation of corrective
actions.
 Assist in preparing for external audits and regulatory
reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related
fields.
 Must have a Certified Internal Auditor qualification
and certificate
 Minimum of 3 years proven experience in internal
audit.
 Registered and in good standing with Botswana
Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA)
 Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk
management, and internal controls
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Proficiency in accounting software (Knowledge of
Pastel evolution (Sage 200) is an added advantage)
 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
 Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
