IT SUPPORT & NETWORKING OFFICER

We are looking for a hands-on, reliable and technically capable IT person to provide day-to-day IT support and manage our computer, network and technology systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, networking and solving technical problems and wants to grow their IT career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT technical support to staff
  • Set up and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other equipment
  • Install and troubleshoot software and hardware
  • Manage and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and network connections
  • Assist with routers, switches and network infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot internet and connectivity problems
  • Maintain user accounts, email and basic system access
  • Provide technical support to different departments
  • Maintain and organize IT equipment and systems
  • Assist with CCTV, security systems and other technology where required
  • Identify technical problems and provide practical solutions
  • Keep IT systems operational and minimize downtime

Requirements

  • Engineering degree/diploma or relevant professional qualification
  • Significant relevant engineering experience
  • Proven experience managing projects, technical teams or contractors
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practical applications
  • Valid professional registration where applicable
