JUNIOR HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER

Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd t/a Nutri Feeds Botswana require the services of an experienced, hands-on Junior Safety Health Environmental & Officer at their Feed Mill in Pilane. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for coordination of all aspects of health, security, safety, fire, environmental and risk management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for amongst others the following:

• PPE stock control, procurement and issuance.
• Manages the legal compliance relating to the occupational health & safety .
• Ensure good housekeeping standards.
• Conduct HIRA’S and Internal audits on safety.
• Ensure full legal compliance to all set safety standards.
• Implementation and systems management, ISO 45001
• Induct all new employees and visitors to the plant on set safety protocols.
• In consultation with the HR Office, plan and implement all legal required training.
• Prepare annual safety and training budget, and subsequent monthly budget control.
• Advice management on critical safety issues and make subsequent appropriate recommendations.
• Execute any other morally reasonable assigned duties to meet the exigencies of service as directed by management.
