Junior Structural Engineer

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Junior Structural Engineer to provide support for their construction project. The incumbent role requires the ability to deliver value through innovative solutions, utilizing building information modelling for collaboration through design and construction.

Responsibilities:

• Must be a Hands on highly experienced technical person to Execute the works on site
• Assist with the structural analysis buildings, transportation related facilities as well as industrial facilities using construction materials.
• Familiarity with structural engineering analysis and design related software.
• Perform structural design calculations
• Coordinate project requirements.
• Possess a basic understanding of building codes
• Assist with other duties assigned by Lead Engineers and/or Project Managers
• Perform field inspection of facilities and transit related structures as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering.
• 2-3 years of professional experience preferably within a construction firm
• Must be capable of field inspection activity
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Citizens will be given preference.

Employment Status: Contract

Salary Range: Salary dependent upon experience
