Barloworld Equipment Botswana invites suitable candidates for the following position tenable in Ghanzi on a two-year contract period.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out auto electrical repairs and maintenance on earthmoving equipment on customer site.
- Removal and installation of auto electrical components.
- Quickly and efficiently deal with all auto electrical breakdowns.
- Electrical component overhauling
- Compile accurate customer service reports.
- Electrical faults identification
- Comply with the highest level of contamination control requirements.
- Ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum National Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical/Electrics.
- 5 years post-qualification experience on electric and electronic systems (Caterpillar machines)
- Sound knowledge of safety rules & mining operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge and/or exposure to ISO quality systems.
- Excellent technical report writing skills.
- Good analytical skills
- Good computer literate (SIS, STW, ET & Microsoft Office knowledge)
- Valid Driver’s licence – Class B
