Key Responsibilities

  • Instructs and monitors the crew at the scene.
  • Provides pre-hospital/first aid services.
  • Responds to all fires, emergency incidents and other special services.
  • Investigates the cause and effects of fire at the scene.
  • Educates the community on fire safety issues.
  • Leads the firefighting crew.
  • Plans work schedule and supervises fire crew in the station.

  • Conducts topographical familiarization visits.

  • Qualifications: Junior Certificate/Cambridge, Basic Ambulance Course, Leading Firemanship Course.
