Key Responsibilities

  • (i) teach post-graduate and undergraduate level courses in Oncology and palliative care nursing;
  • (ii) supervise undergraduate and graduate student’s projects as need may arise;
  • (iii) participate in all academic and professional activities of the department including research;
  • (iv) and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

  • (i) a PhD in Nursing;
  • (ii) N.B a master’s degree in nursing science in Oncology and Palliative care with a bachelor’s degree in nursing science of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered under special circumstances;
  • (iii) registered or registrable as a specialist nurse in Oncology and Palliative care with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Botswana
  • UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Lecturer added advantage.
