Key Responsibilities

  • i) teach undergraduate and graduate level courses such as Object Oriented Programming, Data Structure, Theory of Computation, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning;
  • ii) supervise undergraduate projects but may be assigned to supervise graduate dissertations;
  • iii) conduct research in the relevant field;
  • iv) carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department.

Requirements

  • Doctorate (PhD) in Computer Science or a related field; N.B. a master’s degree in Computer Science or related area with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields with at least a 2(i) (CGPA of at least 3.6/5) or equivalent and may be considered on contract basis.
  • UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Lecturer added advantage; Senior Lecturer 3 years
