Desai Law Group is seeking to employ a Legal Consultant in our Corporate department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multi-jurisdictional projects within Botswana and India
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on Artificial Intelligence regulation, data protection and emerging technologies
- Advise clients on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions and commercial transaction
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and technology-related arrangements
Requirements
- Master of Laws (LLM) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from recognised institution
- At least minimum 1 year experience in Corporate law or related field
- Exposure to or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, technology regulation, and digital innovation
- Skilled in Corporate and Commercial law
- Strong knowledge and experience in cross-border matters
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Will require fluency in Hindi and/or Malayalam
- Prior legal work experience in a corporate law firm as an intern/paralegal
- Organised, diligent and dedicated approach to work
