Role Summary
The Legal Officer will provide end-to-end legal support to the organisation, with a focus on regulatory and statutory compliance, contract management, legal risk mitigation, and governance support. The role ensures legal requirements are integrated into business operations and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory and statutory analysis; monitor legal and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, licences, and statutory obligations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (MoUs, MSAs, NDAs, service and partnership agreements).
- Provide legal advice on operational, commercial, and strategic matters.
- Support corporate governance, board processes, and statutory filings.
- Assist with data protection and privacy compliance.
- Support dispute management and coordinate with external counsel.
- Contribute to policy development and legal risk management.
Qualifications & Experience
- LLB or equivalent; admission to the Bar/Law Society
- 1-4 years relevant legal experience
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and contract law
