BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
The Light Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles used in mining operations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your key accountabilities include:
- Conducting routine service and maintenance of light vehicles.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
- Maintaining service records and report issues.
- Assisting in fleet management and maintenance planning
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
- National Craft Certificate in Auto Mechanics/ Diploma in auto mechanic engineering or any relevant qualification
- Minimum of 4 years in light vehicle/auto mechanic role
- Experience in mining industry is preferred
