Key Responsibilities
- Front office service to walk-in clients and potential members.
- Build trust relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction.
- Assist new members in filling out application forms – loans, membership and others.
- Explain to members the different types of Babereki SACCOS product options that are available, as well as the terms of those products.
- Reconcile member accounts and ensure correct posting of loan and savings receipts and remittances.
- Reconciliation of member accounts.
- Assist members to complete loan contracts and advise members on the terms and conditions.
- Processing applications and documentation within specific limits.
- Advise members on their financial goals.
- Give members feedback on applications.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements of a Diploma in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business related field from a recognized institute.
- Familiarity with multi-line telephone systems.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and typing.
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with loan management, accounting, or member administration systems will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in lending, microfinance, banking, or a SACCO environment.
