- Uphold 5-star food and beverage service standards, ensure quality and consistency, and manage cost-effective procurement.
- Oversee budgets across all departments, implement cost-saving initiatives, and conduct guest cost analysis to maximize profitability.
- Deliver personalized, world-class guest journeys, resolve issues promptly, and elevate the lodge’s reputation through unique experiences.
- Lead continuous training programs, mentor staff to international service standards, and foster career growth.
- Act as a brand ambassador, drive innovation in guest offerings, and integrate sustainability practices into lodge operations.
Requirements
- BGCSE or Equivalent
- Excellent command of the English language written, read and speak.
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management
- 10-year Management Experience in a high-volume minimum four-star lodge/hotel environment
- Strong food & beverage background knowledge with traceable references including food preparation, presentation, service and costing
- Ability to interpret and understand financial statements as well as compile budgets
- Previous experience of directing a large compliment of staff 150+essential
- Ability to train, guide and coach staff to achieve common goals in the operation
- Excellent knowledge of all other departments within the lodge/hotel environment
- Generally expected computer skills to match the position is essential
- Good knowledge of Opera Cloud Property Management System and My Inventory stock control, similar systems will be considered
- Mechanical experience in the field of vehicle engines, generators and boat motors advantageous
- Must be a people’s person who can entertain clients’, resolve problems quickly and efficiently and must be able to plan and take responsibility for all decisions made
