Key Responsibilities
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, including HIRA and legal appointments
- Oversee workshop budgets, parts procurement, job costing, and resource allocation.
- Supervise, mentor, and train technical staff, fitters, and apprentices.
- Ensure maintenance tracking via computerized asset management software and compliance with ISO quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum qualification – NCC – Heavy Plant Mechanic
- Experience in Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) audits and analysis
- Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
- Experience in rebuilding of earth moving machines
- Must have knowledge SHEQ management and control systems
- Valid Class B driver’s licence
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading teams in a mining environment
