Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, including HIRA and legal appointments
  • Oversee workshop budgets, parts procurement, job costing, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train technical staff, fitters, and apprentices.
  • Ensure maintenance tracking via computerized asset management software and compliance with ISO quality standards

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification – NCC – Heavy Plant Mechanic
  • Experience in Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) audits and analysis
  • Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience in rebuilding of earth moving machines
  • Must have knowledge SHEQ management and control systems
  • Valid Class B driver’s licence
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading teams in a mining environment
