Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Maintenance Department is run to minimize downtime, reduce safety risks and ensure consistent feed quality in the Feed Mill.
- Responsible for civil, electrical and mechanical maintenance of the Feed Mill.
- Responsible for the development, implementation and day-to-day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation
- Responsible for managing the Maintenance Department workforce.
- Responsible for all Maintenance Department equipment, spares & tools
- Ensure that all company assets are maintained according to statutory requirements
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma or NCC qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Millwright trades or any other equivalent qualification.
- At least five years’ experience working as a maintenance supervisor, maintaining a food/feed production factory, and experience
- Experience with feed mill equipment will be an advantage – mixers, grinders, pellet mills, generators, steam boilers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with PLCs and profibus networks.

About the Company
