Key Responsibilities
- To plan, organize, coordinate and finalise annual budgets to meet the financial needs of the Institute
- prepare monthly, and quarterly management accounts to reflect the accurate financial position
- Accurate handling of data
- Compliance with internal policies and accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and analyse financial reports
- Forecasts
- Variance Analysis to provide insights into business performance, trends and opportunities for improvement to facilitate decision making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related fields and a Professional Accounting qualification from a recognized institute (e.g., ACCA, BICA, CPA, CIMA).
- Full membership of a professional accounting body recognized internationally is required.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ post professional qualification experience in accounting, financial reporting and management or related fields, three (3) of which should have been at management/supervisory level.
- Demonstrable experience of using modern finance accounting packages and techniques is required.
- Planning and Organising, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Teamwork, Quality Orientation, Assertive and Decisive.
