Key Responsibilities

• Manage all Commercial functions: Key Accounts, Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Customer Service Centre and associated functions
• Develop and execute strategic plans, to achieve company profitability targets
• High level communication with internal and external customers/suppliers
• Oversee contract negotiations, trade terms, promotional agreements, and execution compliance
• Compile and strictly manage Fixed and Variable Cost Budgets
• Implement the pricing strategy in terms of promotional efficiency and pricing realization targets
• Ensure accurate forecasting, joint business planning, and performance reviews with key customers
• Develop and execute tailored strategies to grow and strengthen the informal trade channel
• Lead and oversee in-market sales execution to ensure optimal product availability, visibility, pricing compliance, and promotional execution across all channels
• Monitor and act on sales performance trends, gaps, and risks to deliver volume, revenue, and margin targets
• Conduct volume and realization budget for customer for financial year
• Ensure optimal productivity and efficiency levels at all times

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Sales and Marketing
• At least 10 years applicable experience in FMCG experience having served at Middle and Senior Management levels
• Good communication, effective management and leadership skills
• Good product, sales and marketing experience
• High levels of computer literacy and application
