Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Audit & Assurance Division
- Develop audit methodologies and quality management systems
- Lead and review audit engagements
- Drive business development and client relationship management
- Ensure compliance with ISAs, IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Recruit, mentor and develop audit staff
- Participate in strategic leadership and growth initiatives
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA, BICA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
- Registered member of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA)
- Holder of a valid Audit Practicing Certificate issued by Botswana Accountancy Oversight Authority (BAOA)
- Minimum 15 years’ audit experience, including at least 5 years at senior management, director or partner level
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs and ISAs
- Strong business development and leadership skills
- Experience with audit quality management and regulatory inspections will be an added advantage
