Bayport Financial Services (Money Quest Investments (Pty) Ltd t/a Bayport Financial Services Botswana). Reporting to the company’s marketing coordinator and based in Gaborone, the incumbent will support the marketing department. Their core functions include assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, contributing to content creation, conducting market research, coordinating events, and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The role will also involve providing administrative support and ensuring consistent brand representation across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, branch, and community platforms
  • Support coordination of marketing activations, events, and internal initiatives
  • Assist with compiling activity trackers, campaign reports, and basic performance summaries
  • Support internal marketing requests from branches and departments
  • Assist with drafting marketing content (social media captions, posters, internal communications)
  • Support scheduling and monitoring of content on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Assist with content sourcing (photos, short videos, testimonials) from branches and events
  • Monitor social media comments and flag reputational or compliance-related issues.
  • Assist in ensuring brand guidelines are applied across marketing materials
  • Support monitoring of third-party advertising for brand compliance
  • Assist with maintaining a repository of marketing materials
  • Escalate any misuse of brand assets or reputational risks to the Marketing Coordinator
  • Support planning and on-the-ground execution of marketing events and activations
  • Assist with logistics such as collateral preparation and post-event feedback
  • Help capture event photos and basic post-event summaries
  • Assist with supplier follow-ups, quotations, and basic documentation
  • Support filing and record-keeping for marketing activities
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and learning initiatives
  • Carry out any other reasonable marketing-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications and Training Courses: Certification in Digital Marketing
  • Minimum Requirements: 0-1 years’ experience in a marketing environment or banking and financial services sector.
  • Industry Experience: 0-1 years’ experience in a marketing environment or banking and financial services sector.
  • Desired/Preferred Requirements: 0-1 years’ experience in a marketing environment or the banking and financial services sector.
