Key Responsibilities
- Based in Gaborone – Botswana.
- Willing to travel regularly between our dealerships in Gaborone, Francistown and Maun to provide advanced diagnostic support, technical assistance and mentoring to workshop teams.
- Willing to travel for manufacturer training when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ dealership experience as a Master Auto Diagnostic Technician / Auto Electrician.
- Qualified Trade Test or equivalent recognised automotive qualification.
- Extensive experience with OEM diagnostic equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of: Engine Management Systems, Automatic Transmission Systems, CAN Bus, LIN Bus and vehicle communication networks, ABS, ESC, SRS and Body Control Systems, Immobiliser and Key Programming, Hybrid and EV Systems (advantage), Advanced electrical fault finding and wiring repairs
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, oscilloscopes, live data and OEM technical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Professional, self-motivated and able to work independently.
