Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Materials Management Specialist coordinates and oversees all materials management functions, ensuring that materials and services procured meet required quality, specification, and safety standards, and are available in good condition when needed. The role is critical to maintaining uninterrupted production by ensuring the timely availability of the right materials-including spare parts, mining consumables, fuel, and explosives-in the correct quantities and at optimal cost.

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or mining-related engineering.
- Minimum five (5) years in materials planning, procurement, or warehouse operations, ideally in a mining or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in Materials Management, or experience as a Standards Officer and/or Quality Assurance Officer.
- Must have worked in the Materials Management field as a Standards Officer and/or Quality Assurance Officer
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Demonstrated negotiation and persuasive communication skills
