Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs on trucks, buses and other heavy-duty vehicles.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns and carry out on-site emergency repairs where required.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering and other vehicle components.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Workshop Manager or Senior Mechanic is highly desirable.
- Valid Botswana Class C and EC driver’s licence.
- Sober habits and a strong safety-conscious attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends and respond to vehicle breakdowns when required.
