Project Assignments is a multidisciplinary process engineering consultancy based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are part of the design team participating in the construction of a new Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Water Utilities Corporation of Botswana.
We require the services of a Mechanical Site Supervisor for a Wastewater Treatment Plant currently under construction in Molepolole, Botswana.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out coordination of the mechanical installation contractor and ensure that the installation complies with the mechanical specification and drawings.
- Interface with the civil, structural and electrical site supervisors to ensure the installation proceeds smoothly, technical matters are resolved timeously, and the construction programme is maintained.
- Involvement in the commissioning process, ensuring that all prescribed tests are carried out successfully.
Requirements
- At least a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in a site supervision/construction management role.
- Experience in wastewater treatment processes will be a distinct advantage.
