Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, instrumentation and control-system faults.
  • Commission and maintain electrical switchgear, protection systems and IEDs.
  • Test, commission and troubleshoot synchronous and asynchronous motors and drive systems.
  • Review technical drawings and prepare relevant technical and commissioning documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary industrial and mining projects.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechatronics.
  • Diploma in Electrical Technology.
  • Diploma in Smart Relay Technology (added advantage).
  • 20+ years’ relevant practical experience in mechatronics, industrial electrical systems, automation, instrumentation and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding, analytical and problem-solving skills.
