  • Consulting with patients and providing autonomous clinical diagnoses and management while ensuring strict compliance with BHPC standards.
  • The role includes accurate documentation, adherence to SOPs, effective stakeholder engagement, and oversight of clinic operations, including billing, reporting, and stock management.
  • Additionally, the Medical Officer performs minor procedures within the scope of general practice to support high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery (MBChB, MBBS)
  • Valid registration with Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC)
  • Valid certificates in BLS, ITLS/ ATLS, ACLS, and PALS will be added advantages
  • Valid Private Practice License
  • Four (4) years’ experience in a clinical environment
  • Experience in Occupational Health would be an added advantage
  • Practical experience in Emergency Medical Service will be an added advantage
