Job Description

As the Facility Operator, the duties that you will be expected to perform include but, are not limited to:

• To operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot a machine that treats medical waste.
• Produce daily performance and activity reports.
• Have the ability to work with independence and to make routine decisions on the operation of the plant processes and equipment.
• On call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns at the plant.
• Conduct the necessary weekend checks of the treatment plant on a rotating basis.Work Requirements

  Have a working knowledge of computerized operation, methods and procedures of a medical waste treatment facility.

  Have a thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunction.

  Have a working knowledge of basic machinery preventive maintenance and repair.

  Have a basic knowledge of medical waste management and worker’s safety.

  Have the ability to work with independence and to make routine decisions on the operation of the plant processes and equipment during the Chief Operator’s absence.

   

Job Requirements

• IT experience (fair knowledge of Microsoft office).
• Maintain a valid Class B Driver’s license
