Key Responsibilities
- Operating mobile charging unit as per company procedure
- Reporting faults on equipment to the workshop supervision
- Maintaining charging unit in a serviceable and smart condition
- Charge up holes, down-holes and development drives
- Perform pre and post charging operation inspections
- Fuel and lube the MCU every shift
- Assist engineering teams with both planned and breakdown maintenance
- Conducting density testing of emulsion
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years charging with both Emulsion and Anfo Development and production
- BGSE and higher
- Certified competent in charging using MCU
- Normet Charmec LC605 charging unit advantageous
- Knowledge of mechanical knowledge of MCUs, charge plans
- Ability work with minimal supervision & handle explosives
- Ability to work under pressure
