G4S (Botswana) Ltd. Role Purpose: The Control Centre/Room Manager will be responsible for general oversight and management of the national control centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake to ensure that activations and requests are dealt with timeously and appropriately, with the necessary escalations taking place.
- Ensure proper processing of alarm calls from signal receipt to completion
- Ensure professional and standardized telephonic and radio communication within the NCC
- Ensure professional and standardized inter-colleague communication within the NCC
- Allocation and distribution of controller rosters.
- Efficient administration of control room records and reports
- Daily, weekly monthly reports to be submitted timeously
- Staff motivation levels
- Ensuring that performance assessments of all subordinate employees are conducted, and corrective action implemented where necessary.
- Ensuring that acceptable standards of behaviour at work are maintained by all subordinate employees, as required by G4S’s code of conduct and disciplinary code.
- Ensuring that all disciplinary actions are conducted in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each year.
- Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks
- Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
- Discuss all safety incidents on all levels
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in security electronics industry, CCTV, access control
- Strong management skills
- Business acumen
