Requirements

  • Candidates should demonstrate strong competence in at least one of the following disciplines: (i) actuarial science, or (ii) enterprise risk management and (iii) regulatory compliance, with a relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience at executive and/or board level, with demonstrated governance and oversight capability
  • Strong knowledge of insurance risk frameworks, solvency and capital management principles, and actuarial methodologies and or;
  • Exposure to actuarial valuation, pricing, capital adequacy, or financial risk modelling is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks within the insurance industry
  • Experience in implementing and overseeing governance frameworks, including board and committee effectiveness
  • Sound understanding of fiduciary duties and prudential regulatory requirements for financial institutions
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services or insurance, including at least 5 years in senior or executive roles
  • Board or committee experience, with the ability to provide independent challenge and strategic input
